Colorado’s energy industry doesn’t need bumper sticker slogans, it needs a serious person who will make sure Colorado continues to be an energy leader. That means unleashing our state’s energy producers so America can achieve true energy independence. From the cleanest oil and gas production in the world to wind and solar, we need an all-of-the-above energy strategy that makes America stronger, lower costs for Coloradans, and strengthens our economy.

A Serious Voice for Colorado’s Water
Water is the lifeblood of our economy. But with growing downstream demand and shrinking supply, our water is under threat. With more than 50 representatives from California and 8 from Colorado, we need serious leadership in Washington to secure our water for future generations. In Congress, I will work to provide funding for healthy forests and watersheds, drought relief, and badly needed water storage. I will also help champion the effort to identify new supply options for downstream states.
A Fighter for Our Heroes
Those who fought to protect Americans and our freedom deserve America’s thanks. I will always honor our Veterans' patriotism and courage and make sure our heroes get the benefits they are owed. I will ensure our heroes receive world-class health care and the support they need to ease the transition to civilian life. Our veterans are the best of us. I will never play politics with their sacrifices and I will make sure America honors our pact with them.

As a small business owner, I have been creating jobs for much of my life. I know small businesses are the backbone of our economy, creating the vast majority of American jobs and driving our local economies. I will work to cut regulations so our Main Streets are growing and hiring. I will make sure Western and Southern Colorado get the funding to rebuild and modernize our district's infrastructure, creating jobs and boosting economic growth. Keeping our rural economy strong will be my priority in Washington.
